COMMITTEE MOTION

Offered to the membership on May 11, 1998:

"Shall the Local pursue discussions with the Company to put together a proposal for a compressed workweek, with such a proposal subject to final approval by the membership? Such a vote will require a super majority of the membership (60%) to pass, with failure closing the subject for a minimum of two years."
